Turkey Apple Sausage
ingredients
8 oz. lean ground turkey
1/2 cup shredded, peeled apple (any variety)
2 Tbsp. bread crumbs
1/2 tsp. dried rubbed sage
1/2 tsp. fennel seeds
1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
1/4 tsp. paprika
Pinch nutmeg
Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation time: 15 minutes
Cook time: about 10 minutes
1. Combine all ingredients, and shape into four patties.
2. Coat a large skillet with cooking spray. Add the turkey sausage patties and cook on each side for a total of 10 minutes until browned and until no longer pink in the center.
