Savory Ginger Beef Barbecue
ingredients
1 lb. boneless lean sirloin tip roast or sirloin steak
2 Tbsp. oyster sauce
2 scallions, finely minced
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 Tbsp. hoisin sauce
1 Tbsp. toasted sesame oil
2 tsp. grated ginger
1 tsp. Smoke-flavored liquid seasoning
1/4 tsp. sugar
Ground black pepper to taste

Preparation time: 20 minutes
Marinating time: 1 hour or overnight
Cooking time: 4-5 minutes
1. Cut the beef into 1-inch cubes. Place in a bowl.
2. Combine the remaining ingredients and add to the beef. Marinate, covered, for at least 1 hour or overnight in the refrigerator.
3. Coat a grill pan with cooking spray. Add the beef, and cook for about 2 minutes per side or until desired doneness. Spear with toothpicks for serving.
