All-Purpose Blend
ingredients
This is a rub that you can make in advance and then apply before grilling to lean meats, fish, or tofu.
¼ cup dried rosemary leaves, crushed
¼ cup dried basil leaves
2 Tbsp. dried marjoram leaves
2 Tbsp. garlic powder
2 Tbsp. dried thyme
4 bay leaves, crushed
2 tsp. dried sage
2 tsp. coarse sea salt
2 tsp. onion powder
½ tsp. cayenne
preparation
36 servings (makes about ¾ cup)
Serving size: 1 tsp.
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Combine all ingredients together in a bowl. Use approximately 1 tsp. per 4 oz. lean protein. Keeps up to one year stored in an airtight container.
