I tried this recipe this week and it was wonderful! I did not have fresh sage so I used the dried sage and added some fresh parsley and chives that are still growing in my back yard. YUM! it was wonderful!
every day meals made simple
I'm not a good cook but for the sake of my son with who's diabetic I want to make healthy meals for him that are easy.
Carb count.
Cooking at home is essential for my diabetic son. Carb counting, on the other hand gets to be a bit overwhelming because all the ingredients, etc... Last night we had Persian Soup at a friends house. Lentil,s beets, carrots, noodles, kidney beans, all very high in carbs, but no way to really tell what the count was. The combination of foods in a prepared dish can lower the carbs too. He bottomed out last night and now I'm wondering if home cooking is too risky.
