Basketball fans in Dallas scored some points of their own—awareness of diabetes. The American Diabetes Association’s CheckUp America community event program kicked off this year at three Dallas Mavericks basketball games. The events are designed to make people aware of factors that put them at risk for type 2 diabetes.
