Having Our Cake and Eating It With You
When you have diabetes, you’re often told to save the big no-no desserts for special occasions—like birthdays. But think about that for a moment: Do you really want to “celebrate” your birthday with a food that isn’t good for you? A big trend with foodies right now, cupcakes are also a great way to bring something truly special to the table—to indulge without digging yourself in too deep. We’re celebrating our own birthday this month with recipes for perfect cupcakes that won’t break the fat-and-carb bank. Because 60 is the new beautiful.

Banana Cupcakes
The recipe for Triple Chocolate cupcakes calls for Splenda For Baking. The other recipes call for Splenda but do not mention for baking. Do I need to use regular Splenda or Splenda for Baking with the banana cupcakes?
